Our men are back from their Big Adventure in the woods of Land Between the Lakes, Kentucky at the National Championship Adventure Race. They are tired and sore and full of good stories, as usual. They were also pretty pleased with their finish of 8th place in their division for this race, and with their standings from all four of the races from this year, in the top ten over all! Maybe I'm easily impressed, but just being willing and able to pull off thirty hours of non-stop physical and mental exertion is amazing (and a little nuts) to me, but doing so well in their first year of racing is pretty awesome. And I might have gotten a teeny, tiny bit teary when I overheard Travis telling Jimmy how proud he was of him.

They might be Weekend Warriors but they're pretty good at it joy...
