Intense heat and I do not get along very well, which means that I tend to have a love/hate relationship with summer. Love the unburdened laziness of it, hate the scorching weather. Hate the bugs, adore the bountiful harvest of delicious fruits and veggies.
Some friends from church found a great deal from a farmer in their area on his bountiful harvest and for the past few weeks they've been passing this great deal on to us via their traveling fruit stand in the church parking lot. We've been rolling in peaches, plums, tomatoes and blueberries!
