Team DTC did impressively well on their first over-night adventure race. After twenty-nine hours of paddling, biking and trekking, navigating to find 24 specific checkpoints the whole time, with one little hour of sleep from 5:30 to 6:30am, Ron and Jimmy sprinted to the finish to be met with plenty of cheers from their admiring fans. Preliminary and unofficial results place them in 2nd for their division (2 person/male) and 8th overall out of 35 teams. Awesome! Ron did ask that when they mention signing up for another one of these that we would please burn all of their gear and freeze their credit cards, but that was in the heat of the moment before pizza and coke, a hot shower and some sleep. A few days of reflection have passed and they're starting to only remember the good parts. : )
