day 17 | Joy of Love: What we do at home
We do a lot of things around here, but one of the things that seems to take up a good portion of my day is feeding little mouths. A few weeks ago Travis decided that it was time for him to learn to make pancakes (since it's a huge favorite around here) and he's become an expert almost over night. So this morning when he asked if he could make breakfast for everyone (giving me a chance to dress the little boys and get all of the other necessary early-morning jobs done), I saw a little glimpse into my future. Our kids are getting older and they are really and truly helpful. And I think he kind of enjoyed the accolades from his brothers and sister (and mommy!).
Handing over the breakfast duties (if even only every once in a while) joy...
