I found Caroline standing in the hallway this morning wearing her red cowgirl hat with a bag full of who knows what. She was waiting for the boys who were behind closed doors packing for their journey. I asked Caroline where they were going but she wasn't sure.
The door opened and the boys came out dressed and ready with their bags packed.
Travis: We're going on a journey. We're moving to Minnesota.
Caroline: They have soda there.
Sam: We have to walk the whole way from Florida.
Caroline: And doughnuts.
Travis: It's going to be a really dangerous journey.
Sam: But don't worry, we'll protect Caroline and the babies.
Caroline: Don't forget the diaper bag, boys! We need the food!
And off they went. They've been journeying for about an hour now and I just can't bring myself to interrupt for school time. Hey, it's geography, right?!
Travis wanted to show me their path on the map: Starting in Miami, FL, through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin to Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. In three days. On foot.
