When you've lived in a houseful of boys for as long as I have now you start to learn a few things. If I've learned one thing it's that boys like to tease. And if I've learned two things it's that boys especially enjoy teasing the girls they really like. So when I fell "victim" to one of those silly little pranks today (I won't name any names in order to protect the guilty, but this particular boy just might be my second born) I couldn't help but laugh and be grateful, once again, for this houseful of boys.
Gray (chosen specifically so that they would blend in better) army men (again, chosen specifically because they are "pointy on all sides") hiding in my shoes joy...

My dear friend sent me some photo editing software that she knew I'd been drooling over as a thank you gift for being at her birth. Seriously. Like I needed to be "thanked" for getting to spend four days in Chicago with one of my best friends during one of the most important moments of her life.
Anyway.
I do so love Lightroom and have finally taken some time to read through tutorials so that I can take better advantage of this amazing tool. It's fun. And easy. And makes my backyard snapshots a lot prettier.
New toy and pretty pictures joy....

On a sweet and funny note, when Jimmy was telling the kids one reason that he was grateful for this raise was because it meant that we would actually be able to afford the new vehicle that little Six will require us to have, Travis replied with, "Yeah, I've been wondering how that was going to happen." The provider instinct is strong!
So grateful for God's provision in just the right time.
